Sixth Day of May offers one of a kind handmade peasant dresses made with vintage, organic, found and HTF fabrics. These dresses are timeless and encompass the magic and wonder of childhood. Each one holds in its fibers the story of your child’s adventure-filled days. From visits to fairy homes in the forest and gathering wildflowers in the meadow to planting sugar snap peas in early Spring and even royal tea parties with the Queen. Let the dress be the canvas and your child’s play be the art. Cover them in frosting when there’s cake and mud when it rains. They are made for play.
In addition to the dresses, I also create Waldorf-inspired, hand-stitched woolens using local, organic and repurposed materials.
If you are looking for something special, I offer custom made dresses in sizes 12 months to 8 years old. You choose dress style and fabric; your vision, my sewing machine. I also offer custom made woolens, in which the possibilities are endless. These are ideal for parents in the Waldorf community looking for natural Waldorf-inspired toys for their children or those looking for a unique gift.
